Ontario Convention Center Hosts
Largest Home Show In History
CLAREMONT, CA —The numbers are in --this year’s Spring Home and Outdoor Living Show at the Ontario Convention Center (OCC)was the largest and best attended ever in OCC’s history.
“The show drew more than 20,000 homeowners,” stated Amita Patel, OCVB’s director of sales and marketing. “It was the best-attended and largest Home show of its kind.”
More than 450 home improvement displays featuring experts on decorating, remodeling, building, landscaping and gardening highlighted the Inland Empire Home and Outdoor Living Show last weekend. Visitors found thousands of new ideas, how-to seminars and dollar-stretching tips from vendors. Do-it-yourselfers found advice at many booths manned by experts to help out with completion of home projects.
Nationally-known Feng Shui expert P.K. Odle, author of The Feng Shui Advantage was on hand to discuss how the ancient Chinese science can enhance health, relationships and prosperity. A special highlight was the outdoor area showcasing five innovative landscaped and garden areas for visitors to walk through as they admired the floral designs.
Prizes awarded included a $10,000 home improvement package and a $5000 package in cabinet refacing from Kitchen King, and a portable spa from L.A. Spas. The next Home and Outdoor Living Show is scheduled in the fall for October 10-12.
The Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau provides economic stimulation to the community by bringing conventions, tradeshows, consumer shows and tourism to the city of Ontario. The Ontario Convention Center hosts these corporate events, while also serving as the venue for social, entertainment and community events.
