Wilkin Guge Hires Four Senior Staff,
Adds Two New Departments

CLAREMONT, Calif., October 20, 2006 – To better support its clients as a strategic integrated marketing agency, Wilkin Guge Marketing has hired Brand Resource Director Chad Muhr, Media Strategist Shannon Carlson, Finance & Operations Director Mike Disbrow and Interactive Marketing Manager Joseph Servia. The addition of Carlson and Servia adds in-house media and interactive departments to the agency, the largest marketing firm in the Inland Empire.

“With today’s focus on corporate accountability and bottom-line results, it is crucial we provide quantifiable evidence that our campaigns work,” explained Gail Guge, managing partner/brand strategist of Wilkin Guge Marketing. “By adding strategic thinkers to our team and bringing our media buying and interactive service providers in-house, we position ourselves to provide our clients the best possible value for their marketing dollars.”

Muhr joins Wilkin Guge as a brand resource director with more than 13 years experience in both corporate and agency environments. His agency experience includes DDB Worldwide Communications Group (formerly DDB Needham), Rauxa Direct, LOIS/EJL and Russ Reid Company. His brand experience includes work with a number of industry leading brands such as Ameriquest Mortgage Company, Los Angeles Times, Walt Disney Company, Westec Security and Pepperdine University.

Carlson comes to the agency from Crevier BMW, where she led media strategy for the number one BMW dealership in North America. Previously at Doner Advertising in Orange County, Shannon worked on prominent brands including, Mazda, Outback Steakhouse, May Co., Arby’s and PacifiCare. Her media relations experience also includes time with the Boston Red Sox.

Servia comes to Wilkin Guge from Argus Interactive Agency in Orange County with expertise in search engine marketing and optimization, Web development and other Internet-related technologies. He has worked with many prominent brands during his 10-year career including Argent Mortgage Company, the Orange County Register, the J. Paul Getty Trust, Universal Studios, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Vanguard University.

With over 17 years of accounting experience for various Inland companies, Disbrow joins the agency from Lake Arrowhead Country Club. As Finance & Operations Director, Mike will monitor client budgets and guide agency efficiencies and effectiveness in production, human resources and finance.
