Gail Guge Becomes Nation’s 13th Certified
Brand Strategist

Claremont, Calif.February 21, 2007 – While many executives struggle with triskaidekaphobia, Gail Guge, managing partner of Claremont’s Wilkin Guge Marketing, is betting her brand on it. Recently, Guge successfully completed graduate-level training through The Brand Establishment to become the nation’s 13th Certified Brand Strategist.

“Gail Guge is now the only Certified Brand Strategist in both the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County,” said Jim Hughes, founder of The Brand Establishment and a nationally-recognized expert in the field. “The certification process is like graduate school in brand development.”

“Everyone thinks the number 13 is cursed, but we’re going to prove them wrong,” said Gail Guge, managing partner of Wilkin Guge Marketing. “Brand development is the critical first step to helping our clients achieve their goals and increase their bottom line.”

The Brand Establishment, the only organization in the U.S. to certify brand development experts, develops and conducts a rigorous Brand Certification process which includes graduate-level training over the course of six-months and two years of subsequent extensive counsel.

Curriculum is developed by the Brand Establishment Faculty and Board of Advisors, a group of highly experienced and respected professors, agency leaders and brand experts nationwide. In addition, the training and certification process is supervised by Second Wind, the largest advertising agency network in the world.

In addition to becoming a Certified Brand Strategist, Guge has more than 25 years of branding experience working in both agency and corporate environments. Guge is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America, in addition to being a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She also serves on the board for both the Southern California Public Affairs Association and the University of La Verne College of Business.
