Wilkin Guge Announces Hew Hire, Promotion
CLAREMONT, Calif., April 9, 2007 – In order to support Wilkin Guge Marketing’s aggressive new business development plans and the rapid growth of its clients’ businesses, the agency announces the addition of Brand Research Specialist Audrey Cabrales to its team and the promotion of Shannon Carlson to media director.
“The growth in our research and media capabilities will be very beneficial to our clients,” said Gail Guge, managing partner/brand strategist of Wilkin Guge Marketing. “These two departments work closely to understand target audiences and reach them more effectively and efficiently to maximize our clients’ budgets and grow their revenue more aggressively.”
With 12 years of operations and research marketing experience, Cabrales joins Wilkin Guge from Bull BBQ where she served as the company’s financial and marketing analyst. Her brand experience also includes tenure with Honda, Olive Garden, L.A. Fitness, Olan Mills and Red Eye. She has a degree in business administration with a marketing concentration from Cal State San Bernardino.
As Wilkin Guge’s new media director, Carlson will recruit and supervise additional media personnel, keep current on new media technology and trends, and leverage existing media relationships to bring value-add to our clients’ media budgets. Carlson joined Wilkin Guge in early 2006. Prior, she directed media at Crevier BMW in Irvine and was a media buyer at Doner. Her brand experience includes Mazda, Volkswagen, McDonald’s, Outback Steakhouse and May Co.
