Shannon Carlson

Shannon joined Wilkin Guge Marketing with a well-rounded media and strategic planning background that has brought her success at both the big agency level and on the client side. She has worked with some of the world’s most prominent brands, including Mazda, BMW, Volkswagen, McDonald’s, Outback Steakhouse, May Co. and the Boston Red Sox.

Shannon recognizes that media segmentation and the emergence of media avoidance tools have made the strategic planning process increasingly difficult in recent years. As a result, she has developed a practical approach to media that incorporates qualitative analysis, media synergy and experiential elements. Through this approach, she successfully plans and executes media strategies for a wide variety of clients.

Prior to joining the world of marketing, Shannon gained real-world strategic planning experience while serving an eight-year tour of duty in the U.S. Army. She later earned her B.A. degree in communications from Temple University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Shannon holds memberships in Toastmaster International and the Orange County Ad Club.
