
Best Best & Krieger, LLP is the largest law firm headquartered in the Inland Empire and a top 35 firm in the State of California. With offices throughout California, it was imperative that BB&K communicated a consistent and effective brand message. While BB&K is recognized as a leader in the public law sector, the firm wanted to communicate within the business community its expertise in the private sector as well. BB&K needed further insight on the demographics of the potential client base within the private sector and to learn more about the issues confronting those business leaders.
The strategy for Best Best & Krieger was designed to create awareness about the capabilities, strength and diversity of the firm. First, Wilkin Guge helped to establish a consistent message and image for BB&K to use as its brand platform and incorporate throughout all marketing materials. Next, market research was conducted through a Business Leadership Survey within the Inland Empire aimed at potential clients: CEOs from the top companies located in the Inland Empire. Topics included an assessment of the business climate at the local and state levels, an in-depth look at specific issues related to money and growth, the regulatory and legal environments and quality of life factors. The research findings provided a wealth of information.
The survey results, showcased at the region’s premier business event, the State of the Inland Empire, not only raised the profile of BB&K within the private sector, it demonstrated to the business community that BB&K was a thought leader concerning the issues business leaders were facing. Findings also helped BB&K prioritize prospects in the marketplace in order to formulate a more targeted strategic marketing approach.
